Was Titanium status achieved through stays alone, or was it some combination of status match + something else?
Stays alone.
As long as you have access to the lounge, i find it’s worth it. We loved our stay there, mainly because of the lounge. The pool as well..
Hi Ricky,
Your report is very timely. we are on the way to this JW Marriott tomorrow, same flights as you had too. We will have one-night pay with cash with the Club Premier, the other two nights with Deluxe room, on reward points. Cross my finger if they allow us to keep the Club Premier room.
Can’t wait to stay there!
A lot of your hotel reviews lately have been paid via cash and not points. I think you’re loosing focus… /s
Paying cash (when applicable w the points comparison) stacked with Marriott’s current “Double Take” promo is actually quite lucrative.
Believe me, I wish it didn’t have to be this way. Here’s why: princeoftravel.com/blog/why-ive-started-paying-cash-for-hotels
Hey Ricky, another great review! Just catch’d a small typo ‘860 SGD ($280)’ 🙂
Ah yes, that didn’t make sense. Should be 286 SGD per night, 860 total for three nights.
