What is everyone complaining about? If you don’t like the hotel reviews don’t comment.
I for one enjoy and appreciate these detailed hotel reviews as they help me to better decide where to stay on my upcoming trips. Many of us are stuck inside but that does not keep us from planning for future trips. I have already planned out 3 trips over the last month of quarantine that I have been through.
Now about the hotel review. I love when the hotels let you charge things to the room… helps to maximize those points earnings. I also like that jacuzzi though I am not sure how many other hotels in the area have one. Compared to some of the other W’s that you have been to I am not as impressed by this one. Overall it seems a little forced and out of place as if it could have been any other hotel but they branded it W as a last-minute thing.
I can see where you get that impression from. Every other W I’ve stayed at has been a city hotel (Suzhou, Shanghai, Amman, Dubai, etc.), and I love how a good W hotel can make your entire visit to the city feel more amped-up and exciting.
It’s definitely a different experience at a W resort, but I hope I get to visit a few more of them in the future!

Nothing. Right now everyone wants to talk about the amex shutdowns. Usually this blog is pretty up to date on recent events so I’m surprised there’s nothing being posted about it right now. Instead things that are less relevant at the moment are being posted.
I’m sure you’ll appreciate that, unlike instances when a new promotion or devaluation is announced openly, this situation is much more opaque in terms of gathering accurate information to communicate publicly.
In short: patience, my friend. Meanwhile, enjoy the pictures from that Sublime Suite.
