I have the option (work-related travel, company pays) of any hotel in Doha. I’ll be travelling with my wife and staying for 2 weeks, so important is for her to be able to relax at the hotel while I work from the room. Taking a cab to see places isn’t a major issue, so distance is not super inconvenient as long as the trip is less than 20-30mins.
Which hotel would you recommend out of W, Ritz or St. Regis (or other) for a luxury pampering holiday feeling?
lounge no longer exists
also no free breakfast for plats
If other chance hopping hotels in Doha, take advantage for Qatar Stopover program to a catch a night in 5 star hotel at just 25 usd., a lot of choice and price unbeatable
You mentioned that this W was one of the few W hotels with an Executive WIP Lounge providing the lunch and dinner… do you have a list of the other W properties where they are providing this lunch and dinner benefit to the Platinum / Titanium members? I have yet to try out a W but this one seems decent enough for my needs… especially having all the meals included. Once again, thank you for the detailed review.
Very few Ws have lounges. A few do have Happy Hour offerings in the evening, like Shanghai, Suzhou, and Amman (among the ones I’ve visited) as well as the Guangzhou location I believe. The Doha one might be unique in having a lounge with lunch as well.
