In regards to review of St Regis NYC , we were upgraded to a 5Th Avenue suite which was amazing as is NYC (or it was pre Covid) However my overall opinion of the hotel was that it did not compare favourably to other New York properties such as the Peninsula ,or Madrian Oriental. I find the lobby croweded the resturant food poor for the ridiculous price and the lake of other ammenities hurting. Never stayed at the Toronto property since it was converted from a Trump property but we are there tomorrow evening so will be interesting to compare

Do you know if the Two Bedroom Suite is still available through SNA? I don’t see it being available through SNA during my dates, but the suite is available through cash rate

I think it’s been removed from the pool of eligible suites for SNAs since this review was published. Still worth suite-talking for it though.

Hi Ricky, did they check Corporate ID for your corporate code?

I’ve stayed at this place over the three incarnations of it since it’s been opened. I certainly feel as a St Regis it’s at it lowest as far as an overall experience. The rooms really need to be spruced up. I would say that it was best as a trump property taking everything into consideration (especially consistent service and friendliness) but removing that stain of a name from the property was a great day for Toronto.
