I’m stuck between The Andaman and the Ritz Carlton! I’m attracted to the interior design and architecture of the Ritz but like the idea of being more secluded/more jungle-y environment of The Andaman.

Can you split your time across the two properties like I did? 🙂

Technically possible! It would be a little insane since we are only doing two nights total in Langkawi. We are coming from Koh Lipe beforehand. My guess is that we will be beached out at that point. I guess you could say make a case that since our time is so short, the Ritz Carlton is more central.

I’d agree with that assessment. Staying at the Ritz would allow you to more easily explore Langkawi during the limited time you have, whereas the Andaman would require a 30-minute Grab ride either way.

Was there a club lounge? If so do you know/remember what the supplement was?

Nope, there’s no Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge at this property unfortunately. If there were, I probably would’ve found it worthwhile to pay for access.

Great review, I was researching Langkawi these days for my next vacation, so the time of this review was perfect for me.
Too bad Ritz Carlton properties don’t provide free breakfast to elites…this is actually a deal breaker for me.
Now I will eagerly wait for a review of the Andaman. 🙂

Oh wow I could sit by that pool every day. I love the buffet breakfast at every Ritz I’ve ever stayed at, maybe you cann try it here the next time you’re back to stay at the higher tier suites!
