One last question – was it easy to get a covid test before flying home? where did you go?

    thanks so much!

    Great review, thanks!

My wife and I are staying here next June for 7 nights. I am now tempted by the upgrade offer I have to the Suite with Plunge Pool.

The tiny beach is slightly disappointing, but we will be hiring a car and like to explore, so this isn’t a huge issue.

Oh, if you’re into the beaches, spend more time at La Digue. Will have a post on this soon.

Thanks, yeah we are staying at the LXR because it’s all on points. Going to do a day trip to La Digue, and have considered overnighting there.

Definitely stay overnight… maybe even 2 nights.

Oh one question! The balcony above the plunge pool…I guess that is the 4BR Bay House balcony? Would be nice to have a little more privacy. Thanks again.

I believe the balcony is part of the 3BR bay house, if you were to book the whole villa.

Quick question in the vehicle – did they let you drive it? Or do you get a driver?

    1. Amy YYZ

You mean the complimentary rental with your Diamond status? You drive 🙂

Thanks so much! I’m going next month and I loved your review. Now time to get my international drivers license!

Oh follow up – was the car manual or automatic 😬

        1. Amy YYZ

Double check to see if you need the international license. If you’re from Canada I don’t think you do. We rented a car in Seychelles without it. As for whether the car is manual or automatic, I’m not sure as we drove our own car there and so didn’t make use of the complimentary day rental.

Seychelles is great if you want beautiful beaches and a more tranquil, laid back vacation, but also want a little more to do than be on the beach the whole time. Each island has something different to offer so you can divide up your time between the islands depending on your interests. Will have a post on Seychelles itself coming soon, so stay tuned!

    Thanks for the review.
I had a personal interest in this property but since it’s pretty new to the Hilton lineup, I couldn’t find the info I wanted on the web, so your review was very helpful.
Did you think Seychelles in general was worth the visit?
Getting there is not easy and I’m wondering if it’s a destination worth the effort.
