Hi Amy,
Very informative review! I have 3 kids too. You mentioned that it is not possible to sneak in a kid 😊 due to the waterpark pass. But we could buy an extra pass correct? Are they very strict with an extra kid in the room?
Hi Amy,
I noticed you went to Dubai in December 2021. I know it doesn’t get cold there, especially during the day. However, was the water in the Waterpark warm enough?
Also, did they provide you with 5 passes to the Waterpark? I had read somewhere that they only provide 2 per room.
We are planning on going this December, but want to be sure of the water temperature and passes, before booking.
It was a bit cooler early morning and early evening but during the day, it hit mid-20’s. the toddler pool is heated too. And everyone booked into a room gets a pass. Enjoy!
If your teens love water parks, then yes, absolutely worthwhile. There are a lot of rides catered to adults/teens and we saw many teenagers at the waterpark enjoying themselves.
Thanks for the excellent review. Just wonder for a couple with no kids, is it worth to stay at the Dubai Atlantis? We are not so much into Waterpark either. Just the variety of food and the oceanfront location got me hooked. Just wonder if the cost is not a whole lot of difference from other nice hotels, is it worth for a couple to stay there for a couple of nights?
Hey Dan, there were a lot of couples that stayed at the hotel but I would say it only makes sense if you’re into the water park too. If not, and you can probably find cheaper accommodation elsewhere, you can always still book a dinner at Atlantis and check out the property without actually needing to stay here.
Thanks so much for this review, you’re my absolute favourite. your last blog encouraged me to finally book a trip to Dubai with my wife and 2 kids this March…and just as I was wondering if I should stay at the Atlantis you come up with a great review. I’ve done the Atlantis in Bahamas before but it just looks like everything in Dubai is the same but on steroids! Thanks again for sharing your travel adventures, for someone that almost always travels with my kids you really hit home for me!

Many Thanks Amy. I plan to go in March
How would Atlantis fare as a destination for families with older teens? Still worthwhile or more for younger children?

Hi Amy, for an interconnecting rooms with the two-bedroom family room, is there any door between the two rooms. Thank you so much.
Yes there is 🙂
Thanks Amy
