You can still earn reward nights under the old program by using the hotels.ca website. As of Jan 12, they have not announced when Canada’s reward program will change to the crappy One Key program. I’ve been using Hotels.ca for years but as soon as the change the reward program and I use up any remaining rewards, I’m done with them. Really such a shame. 10% ROR was fantastic.

If I use hotels.ca to make reservations, does it qualify as Canada, rather than the U.S., so that site won’t be affected on July 6?
Hopefully, we’ll have more info about the rest of the rollout before then. I wouldn’t be surprised if the change happens in Canada shortly after July 6, though.
Any idea, if I book rooms with Hotels.com, for example August, Will the rewards stays be paid with current ‘rules’
I suspect that once the program goes live, your account will be converted to the new system, and then any bookings afterwards will be subject to the new program.
