What they need to do is what Linda mentioned, plus also eliminate access on Basic fares and restrict # of guests. Leisure travel is obviously bigger than business travel now, and you see the one member with minimum 50K guesting their spouse plus 5 kids AND another guest? It’s especially worse in the International lounges, that are supposed to superior to the domestic and transborder ones, so maybe even reduce 50K there to just a few complimentary passes a year?
Some overcrowding of Maple Leaf lounges in YYZ, YVR and YUL could be helped by restoring flights to cities that have not seen non-stop flights restored post-pandemic e.g. YYC, YOW.
