Business Platinum Card from American Express
130,000 MR points
Update May 7, 2020: The response to this mileage sale was so overwhelming that many members were unable to participate when the buying window opened at 10am ET on May 7. As a result, Air Canada will be honouring the 90% bonus for anyone who bought miles at the 65% bonus between 11am–12pm ET, and will also be donating an additional 1 million miles to their partner charity CAMH.

Thank you Ricky.
Re. "As a result, Air Canada will be honouring the 90% bonus for anyone who bought miles at the 65% bonus between 11am–12pm ET" … Have not seen that being honoured, albeit bought the miles within that timeframe. All I saw are the base + 65% points, not 90%. Not sure where the info came from.
It came from Air Canada. They’ll be reaching out to affected members to offer the 90% bonus, although it may take them some time to reach everyone.
Thought, based on your past updates, that it came from AC. There is nothing on their site – or maybe is buried somewhere, thus my comment. Stay safe & thanks again.
Quick update on this topic – top up miles showed up in the account. While the initial purchase showed up from Points, the top up shows up as an Aeroplan transaction (BUY MILES BONUS MILE TOP UP). It took 12 days for the transaction – from the 07/05 purchase to 05/19 for top up. Best.
Thanks for the update Stefan!
At 5 minutes past 9am ET
Bought and paid for air miles may 7 and received in my account why haven’t I received bonus air mikes yet?
I can smell dynamic redemption is coming, after they sold many points and when they announce the new program rule in Julyish many people will be very disappointed. They may allow 2-stopvers or multi-stopovers but it doesn’t mean anything. Hope I am wrong.
Let’s hope you are wrong too. 🙂
Your estore total is off a bit.
the Diamond 3x includes the base 1x (diamond give you +2, not +3) Same goes for the 7x promo. I’m not sure about the CIBC 5x that might be a straight +5.
So, should be 14x total assuming the cibc offer is +5.
Thanks , I’ll clarify that.
Does the CIBC aerogold infinite privilege card have this?
Yes, that card should qualify for the 5x bonus eStore miles.
Hi Ricky, thanks for the information.
> eStore purchases will earn an additional 5 Aeroplan miles per dollar spent when you make your purchase using a CIBC Aeroplan-branded credit card (including the CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite or the CIBC Aerogold Visa Card for Business) or an American Express AeroplanPlus Card (including the no-fee AeroplanPlus, the AeroplanPlus Gold, the AeroplanPlus Platinum, or the AeroplanPlus Reserve).
Where does it say this? I don’t see it anywhere on the estore website. Thanks!
This was directly from our contact at Air Canada. I imagine they’ll add some info to the Travel at Home page sometime soon.
