Anyway, regarding the 25000 anniversary bonus of this in-path CIBC offer – if I cancel the card 1-2 months into my second year – can I get a prorated refund of my annual fee, and thus get those 25000 points for just $20 or so?
It’s typically possible to get that pro-rated refund from CIBC.
