Thank you Ricky for giving info about Moovit. I haven’t downloaded the app (we still have about three weeks before the trip), but I have studied the bus route from Wyndham hotel to the Falls using Moovit’s web version. I now got some ideas when and where the bus is supposed to come.

By the way, we’re going to cross the border to Iguazu falls on the Argentina side too. Do you know if they also accept Brazil’s Real or if I should have Argentine Peso ready to buy tickets or buy food and souvenirs on Argentina’s side?

I was in Brazil Feb/Mar 2019 and did Iguaza falls on both the Argentina and Brazil side. They accept credit card on the Argentina side and I used Brazilian reals to pay for stuff as well. Makes it convenient if you dont plan on spending a lot of time on the Argentina side and dont want to exchange/carry another currency.

Could you please tell me what would be a good way to commute between this hotel and the Iguazu Falls?

You just take the local bus, from the bus station down the street, all the way to Iguazu Falls. Download the Moovit app and it’ll tell you which bus to take – I don’t think Google Maps had the transit instructions for Foz do Iguaçu at the time.
