One data point that i’ve been reading about that might be useful to Candians is that you can add funds to your itunes account and that will trigger the wireless credit. You can then use the funds towards any in app purchases. I think you need to have a US Apple Store account but should be very double with a US Amex linked to it.
I have the US green Amex card. Just because the points are convertible to some one-off airlines (eg Hawaiian). I also have the delta gold and platinum cards as I play heavily in the skymiles space in terms of collection. I redeem skymiles pretty much exclusively to fly on westjet metal. Reasonably sweet spot living in Toronto. It would be even more valuable if I was out west.

According to Frequent Miler Dell allows you to use split purchase using two credit cards. So if P1 and P2 both have US Biz Plat they could combine their Dell credits on one big purchase.
