Thanks John. I didn’t realize Avios points can go back and forth.
Too bad Qatar doesn’t show you if there’s space available when you don’t have a sufficient balance of Avios to book the trip. Relying on Experflyer is fine, I guess, as long as you have a subscription. I see I7 for a flight I want, but I still feel it’s a gamble to move the Avios to Qatar based on that alone and as far as I can tell, Qatar doesn’t do award ticket holds.
